Township financial reports, letters from State Treasury, all prior years’ audits, Corrective Action Plans, and related documents are published in the database maintained by the State Treasury Department.
The Township’s fiscal year runs from April 1 through March 31 of the following calendar year. The Board of Trustees is responsible for all appropriations of estimated revenues and expenditures. The Township Board adopts a budget annually, as well as updates a 6-year Capital Improvements Plan.
The Board separately authorizes all expenditures through use of its adopted Purchasing Policy and Procedures. Find all Board policies and procedures here. The Clerk is responsible for ensuring that all expenditures are properly authorized, and the Treasurer is responsible for disbursing properly authorized expenditures.
