During September and October 2020, several educational sessions about the powers, duties, and services of Scio Township were held under the general title Township Governance Academy. These sessions feature Township employees, consultants, and experts from the MSU Extension Center for Local Government Finance and Policy, offering in-depth tutorials on the legal and practical functioning of all aspects of our Township, and responding to questions from those who attended the original broadcasts. Organized and moderated by Clerk Jessica Flintoft, these 90-minute recordings were created and are made available here in an effort to encourage more resident participation in our local governance.
